Nium has been named ‘Best Business Payments System for Global Payments’ at the Fintech Futures PayTech Awards 2024.
This award recognises Nium’s best in class real-time global payments network, enabling businesses to send and receive faster, more reliable, and cost-effective cross-border payments around the world.
Now in their seventh year, these awards continue to celebrate excellence and innovation in the payments sector. Submissions were assessed against criteria such as technology innovation, competitive differentiation, and use cases and examples of tangible benefits delivered to business customers. Nium’s breadth and depth of global coverage, real-time capabilities, and cutting-edge product features stood out in the process.
“Cross-border payments can be hard and unpredictable for businesses because of multiple markets, local regulations, and integration touch points to navigate. On top of this, for years they have had to depend on slow, expensive, and opaque cross-border payment systems to carry out every day and mission-critical transactions,” said Manuel Sandhofer, SVP and General Manager of Europe at Nium.

The PayTech Awards are judged independently by a board of over 30 judges from the finance and technology industries. The ceremony was held at the prestigious Merchant Taylors’ Hall in London on 28 June 2024.
